Joel Wyrtzen

I have been a practicing Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas since 2006. I entered the counseling field as a lay minister in 1999. I completed my undergraduate studies in Greek/Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and completed a Masters Degree in Counseling from Texas State University in 2006.

I have been employed in a variety of professional settings in my field, including inpatient psychiatric care at a private hospital, intensive outpatient group therapy, and career counseling at a university and workforce center.
